Rodney Borger, MD, the San Bernardino County Medical Society president-elect and a CMA delegate, received a prestigious Molina Healthcare Professional Award during the second annual Molina Healthcare of California Community Champions Awards dinner at the National Orange Show in San Bernardino on May 8. Dr. Borger was honored as an "everyday hero," who "inspires others through selflessness, extraordinary service and contributions that positively affect the health, well-being and lives of those around him." 

Each of the 11 honorees received a $1,000 grant to help further the work of their sponsoring organization and a Molina Healthcare of California Community Champions Award trophy, named in honor of Molina Healthcare's physician founder, C. David Molina, MD.
