Thirty-six Medical Reserve Corps volunteers attended the Mock Activation and Tabletop Drill training at the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department headquarters in San Bernardino on January 8. Responding to the call in uniform, they attended a simulated briefing with duty assignments based on a fire scenario, mass evacuation and radio operation procedures. Volunteers were divided into functional groups and discussed what their expected activities would be in the event of a real activation.
