Twenty-two new members from Riverside Kaiser Permanente Medical Group have joined RCMA.
Kaiser Permanente continues to see the value of its physicians participating in organized medicine. In addition to 88 long-term members from Riverside Kaiser Permanente Medical Group, 22 new members are joining their colleagues by becoming members of the Riverside County Medical Association/California Medical Association. Thanks to Drs. Michael Neri and Richard Rajaratnam for bringing in these new members.
No matter an individual physician's path--solo or group practice, primary care or specialty medicine--all physicians have much in common when they face the challenges impacting patient care and the profession of medicine. The priority issues addressed by the RCMA, CMA and the American Medical Association affect all doctors--professional liability, managed care reform, access to care, quality of care/patient safety, and public health. This is why it is important we join together to protect the profession--together we are stronger!
I am pleased to welcome our new Riverside Kaiser Permanente members and invite every RCMA member to support organized medicine by participating in one of our committees or in a leadership capacity.
